CRYPTOLOGY

Thank you for reading (and experiencing) The Oxygen Age; snippets from a world that may or may not exist. It has been fun and enlightening to fill it with musings and rambles. I, however, really have been missing the sweet simplicity of the good, stupid, idealistic warm glow of a homemade video, of a small humble tv screen and the sound of old songs; so... See you in The Telephone and Television Age

Homework

Have you ever heard of the marionette that does not want to know that it is a marionette? The puppet is very much aware of the strings which keep it afloat, and that a humble piece of wood is its medium of interaction and expression. It is capable of comprehending and feeling the mechanisms at work in the background, as well as recognizing just how tethered to those external parts of itself it is. It is not a matter of denial; only the puppet possesses a certain variant of dignity to want the strings to be invisible, the hand on the cross brace to be cut from a similar flesh of existence of its own. The puppet possesses the puppeteer in some sort of natural agreement; its manner of control is the persuasion of the indomitable, a grain of moondust right by the shore; and it gains life by the mere residue from a more capable hand. Only, to be able to have something it needs, the puppet must conceal that thing from its awareness.

No this is not about man and God, neither it is about cognitive dissonance; that's too predictable!
