Correspondence. 01
Date: --???
To: Central Head Bureau
From: Adult Resident 2 (Oxygen Age)
Neighbour taught me how to use the two machines (Why have a fax and not a Computer? The typewriter is very rusty).
All is well here, except for myself. I want to report that I may not live up to the responsibility of evacuating before the hurricane arrives, although I have told everyone about it already. Neighbour and the kids know who they are and where they come from, I do not even know where I am right now. I feel like I am lacking some sort of common knowledge that everyone seems to have long obtained and grew bored of, like I am in the middle of a stale inside joke. It may sound silly but I feel unsafe... The week is one long scratched tape and I lose touch with myself often. Please send someone else who can take care of it, and help me maybe? I have investigated the surroundings and the roads are blocked with snow, with not a single sign in sight. The terminal you have mentioned is impossible to get to. I have gone astray twice now and returned hypothermic and confused, and I am keeping track of my attempts and my day-to-day memory all alone.
On my good days I will try to be helpful, but I can't promise anything.
Awaiting response and instructions,
O.A_
Ps. are the unsigned letters from the bureau? I do not understand them.
